Tan Sri Mokhtar Al-Bukhary is one of the most prominent Malaysia entrepreneurs and is admired with his bigheartedness and charitable deeds for the society. He is also known for his down-to-earth attitude, and a guy who as much as potential, avoids publicity, cameras and interviews, which at times can be an overwhelming task, considering his status quo as one of the 10 richest men in the country.

With the involvement in vary business areas such as transportation and logistics, plantation, property development, defense and armory as well as engineering and power generation, his has a net worth estimated to be US$2.00 billion according to Forbes in 2007.

His generosity starts since his mother told him to give half of his first allowance (RM 750.00) as a director of Rice Company to his unfortunate neighbor. The other half of the allowances were kept by his mother. Other than that, his mother also kept telling him to send all the kerosene light to all the surau to lighten up the ways all over the fasting nite, especially in doing the terawih. Since then, the activities developed of the good personality and also the positive ways of thinking of him.

Frankly speaking, when he was merely 23 years old, he gave away half of his monthly income of RM 1500 to the unfortunate by donating it to the 15 poor families in his village. He never stopped giving since then. Since 1996 to 2006, his foundation has contributed almost RM 1 billion to charity.

Instead of the charities in all around Malaysia, he also has humanitarian projects in Asia ad Africa, including rebuilding the lives of Afghan refugees, Pakistan’s ear’s tsunami victims and now working to establish an AIDS hospital in Uganda.

Tan Sri is a patriotic person. It is proved when he drives a Perdana instead of driving other luxury cars such as BMW, Volvo or Mercedes. It is also been proved by his effort in supporting local student in pursuing their study by giving them a scholarship to a student to continue inside or outside the country. Tan Sri also a religious person. It is shown when he donated a lot of his profit to build a lot of mosque. Other than that, he also has donated toward orphan and people who needed help. He also has donated 1.25 Million Pound to Oxford Islamic Institute for research on Islam. He has also built Islamic Art Museum in Kuala Lumpur. The other characteristic that he got is he is a very hardworking person.

On the 10th of January 2008 or 1st Muharram 1429 Hijrah he was announced and awarded as "Tokoh Ma'al Hijrah" by The Yang Di Pertuan Agong of Malaysia in recognition of his contribution to nation building.

East Cost Malaysia (Kelantan, Terengganu & Pahang) are well-known as the origin of Malaysian Batik. Leaves and flowers are used as a motif. Animal motifs are rare because in Islam norms, animal images are not allowed to be used as a decoration. However, butterfly themes are usually being accept to used as a motif.

Malaysian Batik was 100% made by Malaysian people and it is 100% Malaysian design. To produce a good Malaysian Batik, it was actually a labour of love and passion. Batik Malaysia dares to be different and some of excellent contemporary pieces can state to batik's vibrancy and splendour that transcends cultural aesthethics and borders. One distinct features of Malaysian batik is the modern, unrestrained motifs which often draw from local cultural expressions.

Batik Canting

Batik Canting are made by using a bronze tool to draw batik on white cloth. It is 100% handmade which made it as "No Two Pieces Are Exactly Alike!!"
Basically, it is based on the painter's creativity to design Batik Canting. It is also known as the tertiary industry as it is usually made at village. For sure that Batik Canting is more quality than Batik Block.

Batik Block

In East Coast of Malaysia, Batik Block were formally known as Batik Cap or Batik Terap. Batik Block were made using a block with certain pattern. The block were made from soldered strips of tin. The pattern one piece of Batik Block can be as many as four or more block in a set, one for each colour and shape. There are three basic steps of making Batik Block which are waxing, dyeing and drying. Batik Block usually were made at the factories.

Malaysian Batik's product nowadays are various. Instead of making the common Batik Sarong, Batik are also transformed into the lovely dresses, blouses, vest, bathrobe, kemeja, and tablecloths.

Let me start with the most common way to introduce myself. Hi, I'm Siti Nurrul Farah Diana Bt Abu Bakar. It took nearly 23 years to form who I am at the present. Within these years, I have been given the freedom to discover the humankind in order to satisfy my curiousity towards all the bizarre and wonderful things in the world around me.

Having this blog as the educational blog leds me to write in English as I prefer to write in Bahasa. Weird right? Ex-student of DECOM (Diploma in English Communication) prefer to used Bahasa as her preferred language. Ok, enough about that. People know me as hot-tempered girl. To be honest, I don't even care what others say about me because they don't even know me. Be my friend if you want to discover the true colors of mine

Why I choosed DoozyDazzle as my blog title? It is because I love dazzling people with my doozy way of thinking.There's satisfaction when people come to my blog and leave their comments. Comments from them will power up my enthisiasm to write more. Harsh and mean comments will not stop me from blogging in English.

The colors I choose migth seem monotonous. The reason of why I choose that particular color is because I found it some kind of mystery. The picture of candles shows that with the knowledge that we have, it will leads us to the brighter future. After all, I'm the person who prefer the monotonous color.
