Batik Block
In East Coast of Malaysia, Batik Block were formally known as Batik Cap or Batik Terap. Batik Block were made using a block with certain pattern. The block were made from soldered strips of tin. The pattern one piece of Batik Block can be as many as four or more block in a set, one for each colour and shape. There are three basic steps of making Batik Block which are waxing, dyeing and drying. Batik Block usually were made at the factories.

Malaysian Batik's product nowadays are various. Instead of making the common Batik Sarong, Batik are also transformed into the lovely dresses, blouses, vest, bathrobe, kemeja, and tablecloths.
